Restaurant ‘Planken Wambuis’ in Ede (the Netherlands) uses beautiful Van Gogh charger plates for its art menu. The restaurant offers a different charger for each season. The 4 chargers depict paintings by Vincent van Gogh (from left to right): De Aardappeleters (The Potato Eaters), De Sterrennacht (Starry Night), Terrasse du café le soir (Cafe Terrace at Night) and Olijfgaard (The Olive Trees). Restaurant ‘Planken Wambuis’ in Ede is situated near the Kröller-Müller Museum where a large Vincent van Gogh collection is exhibited. At the beginning of 2015, Planken Wambuis took the initiative to launch 4 Vincent van Gogh art plates. Each season is linked to a menu and art plate. Restaurant ‘De Waldhoorn’ (Ede) and ‘De Peer’ (Prinsenbeek) saw the success and are now using the entire series. The menus were sold out in minutes. There are only a few unique Van Gogh plates still available in the Planken Wambuis.
